Mushroom Pulling Winch / Emptying Winch

The mushroom Pulling Winch / Emptying Winch is used for pulling the Mushroom Growing Net into the Shelving (filling) or pulling the Growing Nets out of the Shelving and unloading the spent compost (emptying).

Our emptying system consists of single roll or multiple rolls shelf pulling winch and one shelf emptying conveyor belt, the single roll pulling Winch is a self-lifting construction which means that you can place the filling arm to the correct height of the different beds, the multiple rolls construction can save your time during the emptying process because you can make all the beds from 1 row ready at the start. The shelf emptying conveyor belt is used for transporting the spent compost and casing into a trailer during emptying of the growing rooms.

The choice of materials guarantees maximum durability over time:

  • The PULLING WINCH WITH MULTIPLE ROLLS is made almost from hot-dip galvanised steel
  • The PULLING WINCH WITH SINGLE ROLL is made mainly from stainless steel

Filling operations

The PULLING WINCH is positioned on the opposite side of the shelf to the filling equipment used and the roll is aligned with the shelf to be filled. The roll progressively winds the cable pulling the net loaded with the growing bed or compost in blocks, positioning it on the shelf. In the case of the CASING SOIL FILLING MACHINE, the roll is attached to the trolley by the cable to distribute the casing soil over the compost by means of the net.

Emptying operations

The PULLING WINCH is positioned in front of the shelf on the external side of the room and the net is attached to the roll which winds it while the spent bed falls onto the SHELF EMPTYING CONVEYOR BELT.

Filling operations

To fill with compost (loose or in blocks) and casing soil the PULLING WINCH can be used in combination with the following machines:

  • TROLLEY WITH EXTENSION FOR BLOCK FILLING
  • HEAD FILLING MACHINE
  • CASING SOIL FILLING MACHINE

Emptying operations

To empty spent growing bed, the PULLING WINCH can be used in combination with the following machines:

  • SHELF EMPTYING CONVEYOR BELT
